You might think that all the best venues will be fully booked up years in advance, and while that might be the case with a few standout dates, you will likely find that even the most popular settings have a number of free slots throughout the year which could be yours. If you’re a bit flexible with your dates and have picked out a selection of venues that meet your requirements, then you could be hosting your perfect wedding day sooner than you think!

Wedding venues are just like other businesses in some ways, so it stands to reason that if they still have dates remaining, they’ll reduce the price to make sure they go. You can use this to your advantage and, if you’re willing to take a bit of a chance and wait longer before you book, you could make a great saving on the cost of your wedding day. Not all venues will do this, so it’s not guaranteed that the one you have your eye on will cut their prices but keep checking and it might pay off!

We admit it’s nice to be able to spread the wedding planning out so that it doesn’t take over your life, but if you’re ready for a bit of hard work and decisive action then there’s no reason you can’t get your whole day arranged in a few months.
