Will there be another wedding taking place on my wedding day?
No, from the start of your venue hire period, you and your guests will have exclusive use of the venue and grounds.
Can I use my own supplier?
We do not allow outside bar suppliers as we run the bar in-house at our venues. We have a number of drinks packages to choose from for your special day. Please contact the weddings team for a wedding brochure listing the packages available.
What is the maximum capacity of Stock Farm
Round table seating at Stock is 250 people. Trestle table seating is 350 people.
Is car parking available?
Yes, there is an onsite car park at Stock Farm which can accommodate up to 80 cars. We do allow wedding guests to leave their cars here overnight at their own risk; however, cars must be collected by 10am the following day unless stated otherwise by a member of the team.
Can I use cash at Stock Farm Barn?
Stock Farm is a cashless venue. Card based payments and particularly contactless payments are much faster than paying with cash, meaning we are able to cut down on the time it takes to serve each customer and improve your experience at the venue.
We accept all types of card payments, as well as contactless e-payments via smartphones, watches, and other devices.
Is Stock Farm suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs?
Our venue is easily accessible for everyone. Inside the barn, we also have a ramp to the Ladies, Gents, Disabled and Baby changing facilities.
Is confetti allowed?
Yes, although we request that only biodegradable confetti is used outside within the grounds of Stock Farm Barn.
Can we use candles?
Candles are permitted at the venue, however, only LED candles are allowed. This is to ensure the safety of the barn & the guests, as traditional open flame candles pose a fire hazard.
Do you allow fireworks?
We do allow fireworks permitted through our supplier, Nemesis Fireworks. The link to their website can be found here: http://www.fireworkuk.co.uk/
Do you have a PA system for speeches?
Yes we have a PA system with a wireless microphone that can be used for speeches, as well as an aux cable providing the option to play a playlist on your device throughout the day should you wish.
How many highchairs do you have?
We have 6 highchairs available for you to use, should you require more there will be an extra charge applied to cover the hiring fee.
Do you have a Toastmaster/ Master of Ceremonies at your venue?
We do not have a dedicated Toastmaster at Stock Farm; however we do have a fantastic one that we can recommend to you. Alternatively, many couples choose to delegate this job to the bestmen/Ushers!
Will we be able to talk through my timings and how I envisage my wedding going close to the day?
Yes, a final details appointment with a member of the Tatton Weddings team will be arranged with yourself and held approximately 6 weeks before your wedding.
Who will be there at the venue working at my wedding?
Due to staff availability, this can vary according to dates and may not necessarily be known until nearer the time. However, we will inform you of staff members who will be present at your wedding during your final details meeting.
Can I bring my own catering?
Tatton Weddings have several caterers to choose from including: Flaming Gourmand, Luke Barnes Catering, Follow the Smoke, Fork & Field, Olive Tree, Zinc Catering, Feast, Woodland Rover Pizza and Tom Pipers Hog Roast. Is Stock Farm licensed for Civil Ceremonies? And who do I contact to book a registrar?
Stock Farm is licensed for civil ceremonies inside the barn and outside on the lawn. Cheshire East registrars cover civil ceremonies at our venue and can be contacted via ceremonysupport@cheshireeast.gov.uk or 01270 375140. Are we allowed to bring dogs to the wedding venue?
Yes, of course, we love dogs! Dogs are allowed both in the barn, in the farm grounds and the farm house.
